WSSBL VENUES
Waikato Secondary School Sports Association is pleased to have the support of many schools and community venues. Information on access to venues is available here. Please read carefully the information on access, parking, and facility rules for Teams and spectators

GENERAL Guidelines for ALL VENUES
No shoes (i.e. black soled, street, heeled shoes) which mark the courts are to be worn  within the court arena
No food to be in eaten within the court playing arena
T-shirts/singlets must be worn at all times in court arenas
Teams and spectators, please remove  all Rubbish including drink bottles from the courts and spectator areas

CAMBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL
Parking Information:
Entry via Swayne Road. Able to park in Staff Parking Lot

FRASER HIGH  SCHOOL
Parking Information:
Please do not park in the allocated Disabled Car Parks at the front of the buildings. Any cars that do park there will be towed away unless they have the appropriate parking permits. Please also ensure that you do not park on Yellow Lines or Walk Ways There is parking at the back of the gymnasium.

NB: Fraser High School operates evening Adult Education classes so care is required with parking
GYM Use Information:
There is strictly NO eating in the gyms at all times.
Gymnasiums may not be accessed until 5.20pm as these gyms are booked for school groups until this point and gyms need to be set up.

 

HAMILTON BOYS HIGH SCHOOL
Parking Information:
-If you are at the gym from 5.30pm onwards, or weekends, then the visitor carpark, or off-site parking can be used. (Argyle Street end has some off-street parking)
-During school hours, until 5.30pm, visitors must park off site.  There is a visitor’s car park directly out the front of the school (off Peachgrove Road) with limited spaces.  Any unauthorised parking may be towed.

ST PETERS SCHOOL, CAMBRIDGE
LEVEL 1

  • Contact Tracing will still need to occur
    • All spectators to sign in the with the QR code at the door
    • All teams to provide their team list to the venue controller
  • All spectators to watch from upstairs on the tiered seating
  • Benches – 3 management and players only. 1 Bench personnel.
  • Teams can enter the gym half an hour before first game

Venue Access Notes:
– When walking to the courts please keep to the footpaths, the carpark will be very busy due to hockey turf in use at the same time
– The courts are to be accessed through the main doors at the front of the building
– All spectators are to either watch from the tiered seating upstairs (on the left when you walk in) or from the carpeted areas on the court
– No one is to access the squash courts, weights room or sit/play/climb on the rock climbing pads and wall and please supervise children at all times
– Please remove all rubbish from the courts and upstairs area

THE PEAK RECREATION CENTRE
LEVEL 1

-Spectators are allowed back in
-No contact tracing required but The Peak strongly encourages people to use the Covid Tracer App or keep a personal diary (Those coming down from Auckland, they will need to bring their level two rules with them)
-The water fountain will be switched back on

Covid-19 has not gone so please remember

– Personal Hygiene

– Stay home if unwell

– Keep track of where you have been
