Waikato Secondary School Sports Association 2020 School Sport Achievers.
WSSSA is calling for nominations in this unique year of 2020 when many events suffered from COVID 19 restrictions to recognise our young achievers. These major disruptions for regional, national, and international school sporting events and with Sport Waikato not hosting any District Sports Awards throughout our region sees the following 2020 format. to recognise our Secondary School students in sport.
“Recognition of Sporting Excellence” will be awarded to the individuals and teams nominated by their schools.
All Nominations will be received and assessed on Merit. Recipients of Certificates from WSSSA for 2020. will be distributed through schools.
Nominations are called for in the following listed categories of 1 – 8 for Secondary Schools Sports Achiever of Sporting Excellence Awards in 2020
General Sporting Excellence Awards for Individuals
- Secondary Schools Athletes Achieving Excellence
- Student Coach Achieving Excellence
- Student Official Achieving Excellence
- An athlete with a Disability Achieving Excellence
- Service to Secondary School Sport
Special Merit Awards for School Teams
- Regional Team Achievement
- National Team Champion Achievement
- International Team Achievement
Closing Date for Online Nominations will be Friday 16 October at 4.00 pm
