Aon Maadi Cup Regatta 2023
Dates: 27th March – 1st April 2023
Venue: Lake Karapiro

A large number of Waikato Schools have access to rowing with the Waikato River and Lake Karapiro as the two main venues for schools. This means that nearly half the schools in the region offer rowing. The pinnacle of Secondary Schools Rowing for many years has been the prestigious Maadi Cup regatta held each year as the finale for the schools rowing calendar. In leading up to the Maadi there a number regattas locally and regionally of which the NISS regatta is important here
