North Island Secondary School Snowboard Competition
Date: 11-13 September
Venue: Turoa Ski Field, Mt Ruapehu
Each year the North Island Secondary Schools Snowboard Championships is staged mid-September at Turoa Ski Field. Over two hundred competitors representing forty plus High Schools from Whangarei to Wellington, Gisborne to New Plymouth, compete in Giant Slalom, Slope Style and Boardercross events over three days.
Prior to this event each year in late August Waikato Schools Ski and Snowboard competition is staged.
