Touch is an extremely popular sport in Secondary Schools and Waikato Schools have a strong presence in national competitions.

In today’s diverse sporting landscape touch format games are also as Tag and Turbo Touch. Both these codes are popular in some schools

The Weekly secondary school modules and qualifiers for the national tournaments are run by Waikato Touch.  Social and competitive touch modules are also available in most local towns.  Please be aware that for students to compete in representative touch team, they must be playing in a Touch NZ affiliated module.
