Here is what Leisa McCleery from Mercury Bay Area School had to say about the course:
“In the ever changing times & all the growth in Whitianga trying to find a Cross Country course was proving to be a challenge so we decided why not make use of the coastline that surrounds us. Having run a virtual Cross Country with our Senior students in lockdown we weren’t prepared for any more sports cancellations.
So on a spectacular winters day we ran the Buffalo Beach Dash Which our students loved, particularly the timing of the waves rolling in. Pleased to say we’ve found our new course.”
