29 Sep Hamilton Boys’ High School win the Super 8 Championship
The battle of the 1st XV Super 8 Championship shield has been won again by Hamilton Boys’ High School.
Rotorua Boys’ High School and Hamilton Boys’ High School played on Saturday 26th September to what has been explained as a great game to watch and a magnificent victory for HBHS with the final score at 26-13.
Since the competition started in 1998 Hamilton Boys’ High School have now won 13 titles out of the 23 years for the 1st XV competition.
HBHS have dominated since 2006 winning every year except the 2011 title going to Gisborne Boys and Hamilton Boys High School were runners up to Hasting Boys in 2016 and drawing 12-12 with them in 2017.
