12 Aug Latest COVID19 Update: ALERT LEVEL 2
WSSSA wish to inform that ALL Secondary Schools Sports competitions until Monday 17th August will be SUSPENDED
A review of this decision will be updated earlier next week or pending any government announcements on alert level status. This decision has taken into account the welfare of students and minimizing the risk to schools of further disruption of the academic year.
We ask that all our people download the Waikato Secondary Schools Sports App “WSSS” as updates and alerts on the current situation for Waikato Secondary School Sport will be alerted through the App.
Please follow guidelines and all public health measures with diligence.
From midday, Wednesday, August 12, Auckland (Wellsford to Pukekohe) will be at Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand, [including our WSSSA region] will be at Alert Level 2 for three days.
