NZSSAA Championships 2019 Results

A great line up of students gathered in Wellington to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships over two and a half days which commenced on 6th December 2019.

Although weather conditions cancelled the Road Race Event the weekend still consisted of tremendous competition.

Below is the Waikato School performers top 3 results from the NZSS Track and Field Championships

Senior Boys

  • 100m: Ethan Wallace (Matamata) 11.21 3rd
  • 200m: Ethan Wallace (Matamata) 22.27 1st
  • 3000m: Ben Bidois (Cambridge) 8:44.51 (PB) 2nd
  • 110m Hurdles: Mattheus Pio (St Pauls) 14.58 1st
  • 2000m Steeplechase: Will Taylor (St Peters) 6:11.28 3rd
  • Javelin Throw: Campbell Robb (St Pauls) 55.79m 3rd
  • Triple Jump: Charles Annals (Hamilton Boys High School) 13.75m 1st
