10 May Positive Vibes Only
The Waikato Secondary Schools Sports Association (WSSSA) endorse the Positive Vibes Only Campaign created by Sport Waikato. The goal of the campaign is to encourage, support and create a positive environment for rangatahi and the community surrounding our students in sport.
As we are all aware – if you head down to any sports field, you’re more than likely to encounter some negative sideline behaviour, not only from supporters but also from coaches and players themselves. It’s an issue that has plagued sport for many years and has a real impact on those who play, referee and manage sport. We’ve seen how important a good team culture and environment is across all levels of sport and we want to do our part in creating these positive environments.
