Premier Co-Ed 1st XV
Playing for the Ian Foster Shield Cambridge High School Rob May Builders 1st XV went away with the inaugural Premier Co-Ed 1st XV title and the Ian Foster shield defeating 2nd place Matamata College in the final with a very tight score of 20-19. In 3rd place play-off, Morrinsville College 1st XV defeated Te Awamutu College 1st XV with a final score of 36-17.

Championship 1st XV C0-ed
1st place in the Championship 1st XV Co-Ed division competition Putaruru College 1st XV took the title being unbeaten in the 2nd round, ahead of 2nd place Rototuna High School 1st XV and in 3rd place was Fairfield College 1st XV. In 4th and 5th were Te Kuiti High and Forest View High.

Senior Open XV Premier
Hamilton Boys’ High School Gold Open XV took out 1st place in the competition against St Paul’s Collegiate Hamilton 2nd XV in the final coming out on top with a score of 35-27. In3rd place Hamilton Boys’ High School Black Open XV beat 4th place St John’s College Open XV.

1st place in this competition went to Hamilton Boys’ High School U15A. In 2nd place was St John’s College U15A . In 3rd place and 4th respectively were Hamilton Boys’ High School U16 Red and St Paul’s Collegiate U16.

Girls 1st XV
1st place in the competition went Hamilton Girls’ High School 1st XV, while 2nd place went to Tokoroa High School 1st XV. In 3rd and 4th place respectively were Putaruru College 1st XV and Sacred Heart Girls’ College 1st XV.

Central North Island Competition
Within the ten teams in this competition, three of them are Waikato schools; St Pauls Collegiate, St Peters School and St Johns College. St Paul’s Collegiate School took out the championship while 2nd in the competition wen to Whanganui Collegiate School. St Peter’s School placed 6th overall and St Johns College 9th

Super Eight 1st XV
Hamilton Boys High School 1st XV took out he prestigious Super Eight Rugby title against recent rivals Hastings Boys High 13 – 5 to again claim the trophy after last years win over Napier Boys and sharing the trophy in 2017 having a draw with Hastings Boys.
